Entwined in the Valley Slow Food Dinner

True to the GOOD CLEAN FAIR ethos, the Entwined Slow Food Dinner on 7 October will offer avid foodies the opportunity to sample the rich agricultural history of the Swan Valley via their tastebuds in a gastronomic celebration of local producers and winemakers.

The four-day Entwined in the Valley festival will culminate with a fantastic display of food theatre under the stars at the Slow Food Dinner in the rustic, leafy surrounds of Taylors Art and Coffee House.

Using artfully designed, handmade open grills, a roasting spit and wood-fired ovens, the Slow Food chefs of the Swan Valley and Eastern Regions convivium promise a ‘Spring Spectacular’ of interactive cooking, pizza-throwing and joyful conviviality. 

Featuring mouth-watering local asparagus and artichokes, the vigorous vegies taking centre stage at this event will showcase the seasonal freshness of locally available produce that is grown and harvested from surrounding farms. There will also be organic, grass-fed lamb on a spit and signature wood-fired pizzas from Slow Food master chef, Vincenzo Velletri, among other culinary delights.

Fourth generation vintners Rob and Genevieve Mann will provide wine for purchase from their Corymbia label using grapes from the Swan Valley vineyard of this pioneering winemaking family. Local craft beer, juice and mineral water will also be for sale from the bar. Live music will get your toes tapping!
