WA bees for Future Food Security

Slow Food pairs with the Cooperative Research Centre for Honey Bee Products (CRC HBP), the Noongar Land Enterprise Group (NLE) and the Bee Industry Council of WA (BICWA) to organise a celebration of WA’s bee biodiversity, highly valued honey varieties and a reflection on the crucial role of WA’s forestry as an important contributor to food security and to the bee industry.

Followed by tastings of local honey, finger foods and bush foods. See our mouthwatering 7-course dinner below:

Venue: UWA – Entrance Hackett Drive #3, Crawley WA 6009. Parking available in the parking lots marked student parking – yellow. The venue is the green area with the number 415 on it (highlighted in blue), below 401 Institute of Agriculture.
